These names were deliberately chosen because they hold historical prominence and provide opportunity for the students to relate to the cultural and educational heritage of our country.
The house system is a traditional feature of many schools, designed to foster a sense of community and friendly competition among students. In our school, we have four houses, each named after a renowned ancient university of India: Ajanta, Nalanda, Taxila, and Sanchi. These houses serve as a platform for students to participate in a wide range of activities, from sports and academics to cultural events and community service projects. Throughout the year, we organize a variety of inter-house events, spanning sports competitions, cultural performances, and literary contests. Each student is assigned to a house upon enrollment and remains a member throughout their school years, fostering camaraderie and a sense of belonging. The house system, with its diverse array of activities and competitions, promotes teamwork, leadership skills, and healthy competition, enriching the overall school experience for every student.
